The progression from Gym Leaders, to E4, to the Western Tyron Leaders, to Challenge Bridge, to Tournament Tower was fun to beat, they all felt equally daunting at the times you get to them. Gotta say having the post game be all of Western Tyron and the Central Area was cool, I put in probably a third of the entire playtime into the game after the E4. I was hoping the Tournament Tower would have maybe been a copy of the Battle Tower from Emerald, as that would have been an intense final challenge with level caps and maybe still the frontier brain at the end. I enjoyed the inclusion of some characters like Ash, Uranium, and other characters from pokemon / other rom hacks. The story was also maybe a little bit bland, but there was a good amount of it, I enjoyed it overall.
If you don't save a lot, it can be very easy to lose half of your money just because you didn't expect a fight. One big criticism I have for this hack, is that there were a lot of places I wasn't quite expecting a forced battle with some tough trainer, and this happens a LOT throughout the game, where you are just going to a Pokemon center, or going to the next route, maybe not prepared for a big fight, and then you get ambushed.
The game can definitely be rather challenging in some fights, and I used x items for a majority of the tough ones even with my Pokerus pokemon. (and in turn, get Kyurem B/W right as soon as you can use fly) but overall despite these glitches, the game was a fairly well put together game in regards to how challenging the battles were, pokemon diversity, and some quality of life stuff, like being able to purchase all tms eventually. I put about 40 hours into this game, I did raise a full 6 pokemon team, although I did exploit the bad egg in the PC to get pokerus on all of them, and also exploited a fly glitch that lets you access Kyurem early. I have played through this game and beat the Tournament Tour in the Central Area, and I will say that overall this game is a pretty decent rom hack from the dozen or so I have fully completed.
